How do we center our own needs and wellbeing in a world where our attention and energy are constantly being pulled elsewhere? How do we balance being both a person for others and a person for ourselves? Pam R. Johnson Davis seeks to answer this question in a session called "The Well" at the Racial Justice at Work Summit. Alongside guitar accompaniment Mico Davis, "The Well" will examine "Being" and "Wellbeing" through a collection of songs, poems, and stories. Pam & Mico will bring a unique blend of music and writing alongside giants in social justice work such as Jane Elliot and Dr. Ibram X. Kendi. Join us at the summit in a global draw towards equity.

Join us for an uplifting and rejuvenating evening as we celebrate the power of expression, healing, and sisterhood. Led by the dynamic duo of L'Oreal Thompson Payton, acclaimed author, journalist, and yoga teacher, and Pam R. Johnson Davis, renowned poet, singer, and songwriter, this unique workshop invites Black women to explore the intersection of yoga and poetry as tools for self-discovery, empowerment, and mental wellness. Through gentle yoga flows, reflective writing exercises, and soul-stirring poetry readings, participants will embark on a journey of self-care, resilience, and collective healing. Register here.

Pam R. Johnson Davis will be a featured panelist with Prismatic's IGNITE program, a leadership development program for young people ages 14-18 with a passion for social change. She will speak on the role of higher education in her own career development, the importance of lifelong learning, how to measure personal success, and advice for pursuing higher education and planning for your future.

July 8th: Southport Art Festival, 3:30-5:30pm, (FREE)
Pam R. Johnson Davis, alongside guitar accompaniment DeMico Davis, will deliver an electrifying acoustic set at the legendary Southport Art Fest just steps away from iconic Wrigley Field. This art-filled, family friendly, neighborhood festival was named as one of the “Best Festivals in Town” by TimeOut Chicago. Pam will rock the stage from 4:00pm-5:15pm. Free admission!
